What happens in Vegas?
….stays in Vegas. Probably not us. But for one night? We can deal. Had a great time driving up from Phoenix today. The varying land scape is exceptional. We stopped at Hover Dam. Wow is the water behind the dam getting low. Parts of Lake Mead are completely dried up. Still, it’s an interesting sight. I’ll post some of the photos tonight.
We sent Martin off cruising around the Treasure Island Hotel while we check
In. In writing this entry and Cathy is reading in line. Yeah, that’s us. More later.
Landed in Denver
Just got to Denver. Martin just can’t get enough time on a string instrument! FYI, this post is actually coming from my iPhone. Found a great Wordpress application for the iPhone that let’s me write and edit postings and insert photos. When we get to some of the more interesting sites, I’ll edit and put in better quality photos. But you can’t find more interesting ways to work with these phones.
At the airport
So we made it through the normal traffic to the airport. One of the fun privileges off my travels to Tanzania is getting “tagged” by TSA for an extra checks from time to time. Well I’m presuming that, but I have been pulled aside before for additional scans. Martin got a laugh out it, watching and waiting for me. And the TSA agent was pretty nice about it all too. He saw my Rock the Sound tee shirt and we got talking about the Crowder Band, News Boys and such while I waited to be cleared.
So we are here waiting for our flight. Martin is playing my ukelele. Leg one of the trip is about to start.
